As a candidate, you might wonder why one of your upcoming interviews is set to be recorded, and that's completely understandable. However, have you ever complained about too many interview rounds, interviewers always asking the same question, or you waited weeks to receive feedback?

This is finally going to change and here are some reasons why having your interview recorded will not only benefit the interview, but most importantly you!

  • Focused Interviewers: The interviewer can finally focus on the conversation with you and no longer has to take manually notes that be will distracting. In addition, the interviews will be better structured, giving you the opportunity to showcase your strengths.

  • Better Coordination: As you are most likely to speak to multiple interviewers throughout the process, you will not be asked the same question over and over again. The question "Tell my why you want to work for us?" is only going to be asked once!

  • Objective Evaluation: The interview recordings provide a fair and objective assessment of your performance, even a couple days later. Interviewers can revisit the conversation, compare with others and will base their decisions on your actual responses, reducing any biases.

  • Less Interviews and faster Feedback: You can expect to go through less interview rounds to receive the final hiring decision. Interviews might be shared across the team to collective decide to fast track you application along the process.

In case you don't wish to be recorded, you can easily revoke your consent and be ensured that this will not affect the hiring decision. It is most important that you feel highly comfortable during the interview process and are able to perform at your best level.
